Washington the Evergreen State. What an accurate nickname. Being constantly surrounded by trees really had a great impact on us, well at least for two Californians who are used to dry grass and oak trees. After spending a few days exploring Seattle we headed south west to Ocean Shores driving along the beach and enjoying the sunshine. Then headed north to see what the Olympic Peninsula had to offer. Lush rain forests endless ragged coastlines and some fun around the 4th of July.
